Guided Alpine Tour
Not every step forward happens on the race track. Two guided tours for everyone who wants to understand their motorcycle on the road – in the mountains, where it belongs.
Not every step forward happens on the race track. Two guided tours for everyone who wants to understand their motorcycle on the road – in the mountains, where it belongs.
The Alpine tour is not a course and not a track day – it is a guided ride through the finest passes of the Alps, in a small group, with an experienced guide at your side. You ride your own motorcycle, under your own responsibility, at your own pace. The guide picks the route and gives you pointers on line and timing along the way if you want them – but nobody takes the riding off your hands.
For everyone who, after the riding safety training or Level 1, does not want to head towards the race track but would rather use their technique where most of us actually ride: on the road.
The value lies in being guided – without having to worry about route and timing.
Three places per tour – on both routes, on your own motorcycle. The conditions of the ride are set out in the Teilnahmebedingungen (German).
There are no dates scheduled for Penser Joch and Slovenia at the moment. Leave your email and we will write to you as soon as new dates are set – or write to us.
Both tours ask for the same foundation – the choice is more a question of time and appetite: one concentrated day at the Penser Joch, or a whole day from the mountains to the sea.
The Penser Joch is among the most impressive passes in South Tyrol – tight hairpins, changing gradients, wide views over the Sarntal Alps. The meeting point is Sterzing; from there we ride the pass road together and back, with stops for photos and a talk.

From the Julian Alps to the Adriatic in one day: up over the Vršič pass – with 48 hairpins the highest pass in Slovenia –, down into the emerald Soča valley, on through the Vipava valley to the coast. From alpine hairpins to Mediterranean air, without crossing a single border.
View Slovenia datesThe Alpine tour is open to everyone with a valid motorcycle license. A foundation from the riding safety training or Cornering Training Level 1 is worth having, so that cornering technique on the passes comes to you more easily.
No. The Alpine tour is a guided ride – not structured coaching like the cornering training or the race track training. You ride your own motorcycle under your own responsibility; the guide leads the route and gives pointers if you want them, but does not take over your riding education.
Not necessarily – the Alpine tour is open to everyone with a valid motorcycle license. A foundation from the riding safety training or Level 1 is still worth having, so that cornering technique on the passes comes to you more easily.
A maximum of 3 participants per guide – deliberately smaller than in our other formats, because on public roads in real traffic a tighter group is easier to keep together.
On request we help by arrangement – we cannot promise transport as a fixed, guaranteed service.
Then the Alpine tour is probably not the right thing for you – the value lies precisely in being guided, without having to worry about route and timing.
